Rental Terms & Conditions

By renting or purchasing with Betty’s Love, LLC, the Client agrees that he/she understands and is accepting the following Terms and Conditions.

RENTAL PERIOD
The rental period is for up to 6 days unless otherwise arranged. Client pick-up and drop-off times should be arranged online or over the phone at the time of reservation. Please contact Betty’s Love to make changes to scheduled pick-up and drop-off times. Pick-up days are Thursdays and Fridays 9:00am to 4:00pm, drop-off days are Mondays and Tuesdays 9:00am to 4:00pm.

Late returns of Rental Items are subject to additional fees up to the entire cost of the Rental Reservation.

USE OF RENTAL ITEMS
By renting with the Betty’s Love, the Client agrees the Rental Items will be handled with care throughout the Reservation. The Client further agrees that the rented property shall [1] not be used beyond the intended capacity of the rental product; [2] not be used in any manner for which it was not designed for or designated to; [3] not be used near an open flame; [4] not be used in a negligent manner; [5] not be changed.

DAMAGED OR MISSING RENTAL ITEMS
Damages include, but are not limited to chipped, cracked or broken items, stained and dirtied faux florals or fabric that are beyond normal wear and tear, missing or damaged florals or petals beyond normal wear and tear, loss or damage due to theft, burglary, misuse, abuse, theft by conversion, intentional damage, disappearance, or loss due to Client’s failure to care for the Rental Items, including damage as a result of leaving Rental Items out in the rain or in a sprinkler system, and leaving items in extreme temperature conditions. Client shall be responsible for the full replacement cost of damaged or lost Rental Items and if fabric and upholstered items are returned stained, the cost of cleaning.

A refundable damage/security deposit of $100 will be added to the total rental invoice. The cost to replace or repair any damaged items will be removed from the refundable damage/security deposit after the Rental Items are dropped off at Betty’s Love and the rental is complete. For any further damage costs owed to the Betty’s Love beyond $100, Client shall remit payment to Betty’s Love within 30 days following written request by Betty’s Love.

FEES
Rental Fees: Client agrees to pay Betty’s Love the fees (hereinafter, “Rental Fees”) specified in invoice. Rental Fees are for the time the Rental Items are out and away from Betty’s Love’s possession, regardless of whether the Rental Items are actually used by Client. No refunds will be given for unused Rental Items.

Refundable Damage Deposit: A refundable damage/security deposit of $100 will be collected at the time of full payment of the Rental Items. The deposit will be refunded to Client upon safe return of all Rental Items if no damages are incurred. The cost to replace or repair any damaged Rental Items will be subtracted from the total refundable deposit amount. If further damages are incurred beyond the total damage deposit amount, Client shall remit payment to Betty’s Love within 30 days following Betty’s Love’s written request.

Payment Schedule: The client agrees to pay Betty’s Love the Rental Fees in accordance with the following schedule:

  • An initial 50% of the total price (hereinafter “Retainer”) will be made upon signing of this Agreement to confirm the Reservation.
  • The Retainer and all other rental fees collected are non-refundable within 90 days of the Reservation Date, except for the Refundable Damage Deposit. See Cancellation Policy below for further details.
  • The final balance is due 14 days prior to the Reservation Date.
  • Additions and substitutions made 14 days prior to the Reservation Date are subject to additional charges.
  • Items may be subtracted from an order, but no Rental Fee reduction or refunds are given if items are subtracted from an order 14 days or less from the Reservation Date.
  • A Credit card is required to keep on file, even if Client is paying by check or wire transfer or ACH.
  • Rental Items are not officially reserved until Betty’s Love receives a signed copy of this Agreement, Retainer and a credit card on file.
  • If full balance has yet to be paid within 14 days, Betty’s Love may charge the credit card on file.

Form of Payment: Unless otherwise agreed to, payments to Betty’s Love must be made in the form of Cash, Credit or Debit Card (accepted online), or Check payable to: “Betty’s Love, LLC” and sent to 4440 Round Lake Rd W, Suite K14, Arden Hills, MN 55112.

CANCELLATIONS
Either party, without cause, may cancel this Agreement by delivering written notice to the other party. Cancellations by the Client should be submitted via email to info@bettyslovedesign.com. Cancellations made by the Betty’s Love will be delivered via email from info@bettyslovedesign.com.

Cancellation by Client: In addition to any other obligations set forth in this Agreement upon cancelation, if Client cancels this Agreement, the following terms apply:

  • Cancelation made (based on days from the Reservation Date, notice received between 9am-5pm CST):
    • 90 days or more: 97% refund of total fees paid towards the Rental Reservation, 3% is retained by Betty’s Love for processing fees;
    • 15-89 days: No refund for any amounts paid;
    • 14 days or less: Rental Fees are required be paid in full, with no credit or refund

Cancellation by Betty’s Love: In addition to any other obligations set forth in this Agreement upon cancellation, if Betty’s Love terminates this Agreement, the Betty’s Love will refund unearned fees to the Client.

Rescheduling Reservation Dates are allowed on a case-by-case basis and are subject to a rescheduling fee. Betty’s Love will discuss with Client prior to charging any additional fees. Parties will enter into a separate written agreement or modify this Agreement to reflect the Rescheduled Reservation Date. Signature of the Rescheduled Reservation Date contract voids the previous agreement.
